The process of guidance (Civil Law)

  • Our free advice in civil law is based on § 6 passage 1 Rechtsdienstleistungsgesetz (RDG) in accordance with passage 2 of the provision.

  • We record your request in our online form.
  • 3.
  • After describing the circumstances we run an intern investigation, whether the case is basically acceptable. In Cases of jurisdictional amounts above 700 €, lack of need, penologic or fiscal difficulties we are not allowed to work on the case.

  • If your request is accepted, the case will be forwarded to our adviser team, which will contact you to clarify the details and arrange a liability exclusion. This liability exclusion implies to take responsibility in cases of gross carelessness and intention concerning mistakes our sides during the guidance. As students we don’t underlie the liability of advocates. You are not entitled to receive guidance. If you issue an order to give you advice, you are able to withdraw the order at all times.

  • After gathering all the information and the signing of the contract, we work out a report explaining the concrete legal position of your issue. We will point out various opportunities for further steps including their advantages and disadvantages.
  • 6.
  • Before we present the result to you and answer eventual uprising questions, the report will be checked by a member of our advisory council.
  • 7.
  • Ending the contract we make your data anonymous and archive it. This shall guarantee future advisors an information basis and solution statement and help them getting more efficient.
